Visiting a church takes courage! Here’s everything you need to make your visit to Village easy.
⏰: Sundays at 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM
📍1950 Mitchellville Road, Bowie, MD 20716 (Get Directions)

We will never ask you to stand up, introduce yourself, or wear a name tag. Sit wherever you like, partcipate as much or as little feels right, and worship with us.
Some songs you might know, some you may not. We often mix worship styles to glorify God in as many ways as possible. Lyrics are on the screen or in the hymnal.
There’s a moment called the Passing of the Peace where people greet each other. A smile and a handshake are plenty.
We open the floor for any prayer requests in the congregation. Anyone can raise their hand and share their prayer request.
We do pass an offering plate, but there are no expectations for visitors to give. This is a moment for our members and long-time worshippers to express their gratefulness to God through generosity. Don’t feel any pressure on day one.
Pastor Caleb preaches messages that take the Bible seriously and your real life seriously, too. You always leave with something to think about all week.
Kids are always welcome in the full service. We provide activity bags, and every service includes a children's story just for them. After the story, kids are invited to Children's Church for an age-appropriate lesson. Or they can stay in worship — totally your call.

Our nursery suite is down the hall to the left as you enter. It’s staffed by paid childcare workers every Sunday during both services.

Just off Mitchellville Road, our parking lot is right in front of the building with plenty of space, including clearly marked accessible parking.
Come through the main entrance, and an usher will greet you in the lobby. They’re happy to point you to the nursery, bathrooms, or open the door for you to enter the sanctuary.

We meet on Sundays in person and online at 9:00 and 11:00 AM. Kids and youth ministries occur at the same time.
Our 9:00 AM service ends by 9:45. Usually, our 11:00 AM service lasts around 65 minutes and is wrapped up by 12:05.
Come exactly as you are - don’t dress up or down for anyone.
Village Baptist Church is fully accessible, with ramps, automatic door openers, and no stairs inside the church.
When we celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month, all are welcome at the table. We celebrate open communion and invite members, visitors, and seekers alike.
We are affiliated with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, American Baptist Churches in the USA, the D.C. Baptist Convention, and the Baptist World Alliance.
Absolutely! If for any reason you can’t make our in-person service, you can always watch it live or watch it back here on our YouTube channel.
If you have any other questions or simply want to talk to a pastor, Pastor Caleb would be happy to speak with you.
