40th Anniversary Recognition

November, 2008, marked the 40th anniversary of Village, which started as a mission in a house church in November, 1968.  As part of the celebration of our anniversary, Ray Chatary solicited some formal recogntions from local and state governments.  These included proclamations of support from the Bowie City Council, the Prince Georges County Council, the Maryland State Legislature, and the Governor of Maryland.  Ray presented these at the worship services on November 23.  Some photos are below.
