"Wall of Remembrance" Dedication
On Sunday, April 25, 2004, Village welcomed Oliver Smith, Sr. and
his wife, Cynthia, for a dedication of the "Wall of Remembrance" for
victims of violent crime in Maryland. The Smiths have made this
wall, containing the names of over 200 victims, as a way to help remind
us of this loss to society and the continuing need for justice. This
wall will be displayed permanently in the Prince Georges County
Courthouse after next week. Below are some photos from this
